Rome is English, in Italian, Rome is Roma.
Antwerp(Belgian city) is in Dutch, Antwerpen.
The Hague is in Dutch, Daan Haag.
Munich is in German, Munchen.
Copenhagen is in Danish, Kovenhavn.
Athens is in Greek, Athene.
Moscow is in Russian, Moskva.
Warsaw is in Polish, Warszawa.
Prague is in Czech, Praha.
Bucharest is in Romanian, Bucuresti.
Belgrade is in Serbian, Beograd.
Vienna is in German, Wien.

  1. Cardiff, the capital city of Wales - is called Caerdydd (kiredeeth) in Welsh. I like this list you have posted.

    Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand is called Whanganui-a-Tara in Maori "The large harbour of Tara". Tara was the daughter of Kupe a famous (perhaps mythical) Polynesian ocean explorer.
